Soft Play Zone is run by Sarah, mum of one little girl and step mother to a twenty year old boy! The mats were discovered whilst on a family holiday. They thought it was a great idea so they brought one back to use on the wooden floor at home. There were so many positive comments from friends who were fed up with putting down old rugs and duvets on their floors that it was decided to create the soft play mat, design and manufacture them. And so Soft Play Zone was born.
As a mum, Sarah knows how costly it is to raise a family, and how important it is to find good quality products at affordable prices. Because of this she is committed to keeping prices deliberately low, much to the delight on many Soft Play Zone customers.

Hi Soft Play Zone,
I thought I would give some feedback on the Soft Play Zone Alphabet/123’s Puzzle play mat.
This message goes out to all those parents wondering whether or not to part with their hard earned cash for a giant jigsaw puzzle foam play mat from the faith ventures stall "DO IT!!!"
We first came across the stall at the BBC good homes show in 2007 and to be honest only purchased the product to protect a large area of our living room from our 2 year old daughters attempts to trash our new woodblock flooring!!!
Well a year on we felt that it was time to report back on how things have developed.
Firstly the floor is fine but much more importantly, with just a couple of minutes of interaction per day our 3 year old quickly learned to stand on each letter when asked, then progressed from upper case ABC to phonics ah,bu,cu. We are now getting regular feedback from Ella`s playgroup teacher (as she is not in nursary until September) that she is astounded by her maturity with regards to phonics, writing and indeed counting in both English and Welsh.
You are probably thinking that we are forcing our daughter into learning too soon but that could not be further from the truth. We simply let the product do the work and just have to show interest when Ella wants to use the mat.
We fully recommend the Soft Play Zone Puzzle mat as not only is it really good quality and a great floor protector but it is a useful aid in preparing your young ones for literacy and numeracy development. 
This year we returned to the stall and purchased a Disney wall sticker set which for all you parents out there with "a little princess" - Highly recommended (really transforms their bedroom walls.)
